A tirzepatide tracker for every form of it

Tirzepatide is the molecule in Mounjaro and Zepbound, a dual GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist, and the drug with the largest weight loss of any approved GLP-1: about 21 percent over 72 weeks at 15 mg in SURMOUNT-1, and about 20 percent against semaglutide's 14 percent in the head-to-head SURMOUNT-5. It comes as a weekly pen, as single-dose Zepbound vials, and from compounding pharmacies as multi-dose vials.

The forms

• Pen. One dose per pen. Log the box as four doses remaining.
• Zepbound vial. One dose in 0.5 ml, drawn in full with a syringe. No reconstitution.
• Compounded vial. Several doses, as a solution or a powder to reconstitute. The dose is prescribed in milligrams and drawn in units, and the concentration decides the conversion. Missed a dose

Within 4 days (96 hours), take it and keep the schedule. Past 4 days, skip. Never two doses within 3 days. After a gap of several weeks, most prescribers restart a step lower. The missed dose page has the detail.
