Wearables, on the same axis as your doses

The point is not another sleep chart. It is the sleep chart and the dose log on one timeline, so a change in one can be checked against the other.

Oura, WHOOP and Garmin connect to Peptide AI directly, and anything that writes to Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android comes in the same way. The data that arrives is heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep stages, recovery and activity. It lands on the same timeline as the dose log, so a shift in sleep or heart rate can be read against what changed in the protocol.

How it works, step by step

  1. Connect a source. Link Oura, WHOOP or Garmin directly, or grant access to Apple Health or Health Connect. Both platforms ask permission per data type, and you can change it later.
  2. Let it sync. Heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep stages, recovery and activity come in on their own.
  3. Read the overlay. Wearable data is drawn on the same axis as doses, food and training.
  4. Watch your baseline. The app flags when metrics move outside your own baseline range, and a daily Peptide Score combines sleep, HRV, weight, resting heart rate and the dose log into a single number.

Why one axis matters

Most people who wear a ring or a strap already have a sleep chart and an HRV trend. What they do not have is that chart next to what they took. A drop in HRV on its own could be a hard training week, alcohol, a cold, stress or a new compound. Laid against the dose log, the training log and the food log, the possible explanations narrow. GLP-1 receptor agonists, for example, are known to raise resting heart rate slightly; the labels list it. Someone on one can see whether their own resting heart rate moved after a dose step and by how much, instead of guessing.

How accurate are consumer wearables?

Accuracy varies by device and by metric, and independent testing is thinner than the marketing.

Resting heart rate and HRV against ECG
StudyYearJournalnReferenceFinding
Stone et al.2021Frontiers in Sports and Active Living5 healthy adults, 148 trials, 7 devicesMulti-lead ECGAll devices measured resting heart rate accurately. For HRV (rMSSD), errors ranged widely: 4.10% for the best app and 6.84% for Oura, up to 112% for a camera-based app

That is a small study in young, healthy adults at rest, and devices change with every software update. The useful conclusion is narrow: resting heart rate from good wearables is reliable, HRV depends more on the device, and any single night is noisy. Trends against your own baseline, from the same device, are what to read. That is how the app treats them.

Who it is for

  • People who already wear Oura, WHOOP, Garmin or Apple Watch and want that data next to their protocol.
  • Anyone running a compound for sleep or recovery who wants to judge it on more than a feeling. The peptides for sleep page covers what the research actually shows.
  • People on a GLP-1 receptor agonist watching weight, resting heart rate and sleep through dose steps.

What it does not do

Wearable data is not diagnostic, and the app does not diagnose. A flag outside your baseline is a prompt to look at what changed, not a medical finding. Persistent changes in heart rate or anything that worries you is for a clinician.

How it connects to the rest of the app

Wearable data shares the timeline with the dose log, bloodwork, body scans, nutrition and training. The Apple Watch app handles logging from the wrist; the integrations bring in the deeper data. Remi answers questions from your wearable data alongside your doses and labs. How Apple Health data is handled is set out in the privacy policy and on the privacy and data page.

Connect the device you already wear and give it two weeks before reading anything into it. That is enough to see your own baseline, which is what every later change is measured against. The app is on the download page.

Questions people ask

Which wearables work with Peptide AI?

Oura, WHOOP and Garmin connect directly. Anything that writes to Apple Health or Health Connect also comes in, including Apple Watch.

What data comes in from wearables?

Heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep stages, recovery and activity.

How accurate is wearable HRV?

It depends on the device. In a 2021 study against ECG, Oura measured resting HRV with a mean error of 6.84%, while one camera-based app was off by 112%. Resting heart rate was accurate on all devices tested.

What is the Peptide Score?

A daily composite the app surfaces by combining sleep, HRV, weight, resting heart rate and your dose log into one number.

Does it work on Android?

Yes, through Health Connect, and Oura, WHOOP and Garmin connect directly.
