Gonadorelin Reconstitution

How to mix Gonadorelin and read the exact units to draw. Enter your vial size and bacteriostatic water below for the concentration and dose on a U-100 insulin syringe.

How to reconstitute Gonadorelin

  1. Swab the rubber stopper of the Gonadorelin vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol wipe.
  2. Draw your chosen volume of bacteriostatic water into a syringe (1 to 3 ml is common).
  3. Inject the water slowly down the inside wall of the Gonadorelin vial, not directly onto the powder.
  4. Swirl gently until the powder fully dissolves. Do not shake. Shaking can damage the peptide.
  5. Refrigerate and use within about 4 to 6 weeks.

Gonadorelin concentration by water volume

For a 5 mg vial, the concentration depends only on how much bacteriostatic water you add. More water lowers the concentration and makes small doses easier to measure.

1 ml5,000 mcg/ml50 mcg
2 ml2,500 mcg/ml25 mcg

Gonadorelin units to draw

At 2,500 mcg/ml (a 5 mg vial in 2 ml of bacteriostatic water), here is the draw for common doses on a U-100 insulin syringe. Change any number in the calculator above for your own vial.

Gonadorelin dosing

Common TRT-adjunct protocols cite small subcutaneous doses multiple times weekly; this varies by prescribing clinician. Enter your own vial size, water volume, and target dose in the calculator above to convert any Gonadorelin protocol into exact insulin-syringe units. For the full profile, see the Gonadorelin compound page.

Storing reconstituted Gonadorelin

Once mixed, keep Gonadorelin refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees C and use it within about 4 to 6 weeks. Store unopened lyophilised powder in the freezer. Protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade the peptide.

Gonadorelin reconstitution FAQ

How do you reconstitute Gonadorelin?

Draw bacteriostatic water into a syringe, inject it slowly down the inside wall of the Gonadorelin vial, and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Do not shake. The concentration is the vial size in mg times 1,000, divided by the millilitres of water you added.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to Gonadorelin?

There is no single correct amount. 1 to 3 ml per vial is common. More water makes small doses easier to measure. A 5 mg vial in 2 ml gives 2,500 mcg/ml. The calculator shows the concentration for any volume you choose.

How many units of Gonadorelin do I draw?

Units to draw equals your dose in mcg divided by the concentration in mcg/ml, times 100 on a U-100 insulin syringe. At 2,500 mcg/ml, a 250 mcg dose is 10 units.

How do you store reconstituted Gonadorelin?

Keep reconstituted Gonadorelin refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees C and use it within about 4 to 6 weeks. Store the unopened lyophilised powder in the freezer. Protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
